What to bring to your appointment
Please bring your Medicare card and any pension/concession card with you on the day, as well as any applicable test results. Please ensure you have a current referral in order to claim a Medicare rebate (where applicable). Referrals from a GP are typically valid for 12 months, while those from a specialist are valid for 3 months.
At your first visit, you will be asked to complete a patient registration form which includes our privacy consent. Our privacy consent will explain how we collect, use, store and share your personal and health information and it seeks your permission to do so.
Our Fee and Billing Policy
Advanced Dermatology and Laser Clinic is a private billing practice. We do not offer bulk billing, however Medicare rebates apply to most medical services. Payment is required on the day of your consultation, whether in person or via telehealth.
As appointments are in high demand, we kindly ask that you provide more than 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. A $150 cancellation fee will apply for late notice or missed appointments. An SMS reminder will be sent to your mobile phone four days prior to your appointment. Please reply to this reminder or call to cancel or reschedule otherwise your appointment will be cancelled.
